Is hands down my biggest pet peeve. It's a forced replay and it's BS. Some games do not warrant a second run through and if you're an Achivement/Trophy whore you HAVE to play it again.
I also agree with giving more enemies with each difficulty setting. None of this less health, less ammo, fewer save spots. I would personaly like to see actual game changes with each setting...I.E., say your doing Spliter Cell and on a certain level it is daylight outside on easy, sunset on norm...
I'd play it on my 360 for the achievements. And to chime in on a previous post, if it DOES go to the 360 they had better put out a trophy patch!
and an empty wallet. I sat down last night and wrote out exactly how many games are coming out in the next year that I want to buy. I'm in the hole about $400. If I drop lunch from the diet and substitute Cup-O-Noodles for every other dinner I can swing it. And that is no problem for me!
Ok, how am I gonna be able to play all of these awesome games? My job is officialy going to be in the way of my game time come Fall. Damn you bills!
I didn't know that! Fuk!
that drops a game's calibur. Along those lines,
I hate 3rd person shooters where I cannot pick the shoulder to have the camera sit on.
I hate not being able to save anywhere I wish (checkpoints only).
I hate FPS where you can sprint with 8 million weapons on your person but when you reload you slow to a snails pace.
And for me, it drives me batty that I have to beat a game on "hard" before I can open up "Super Hard&quo...
but after watching the Uncharted 2 videos, this is not THAT spectactular.
on the multi-plats. They mostly do perform better on the 360 (not much and indeed the gap is closing). Once devs step it up and there is no difference or even starting to look better on the PS3 then the tide is really going to turn. MS MUST sell us on must haves or the leak might possibly break the dam.
Just running around HOME tonight with a buddy I tell ya the improvements are starting to show. The layouts for the apartments (cabin is sweet) and just the overall graphical l...
I'm putting more thought into E3 than who's outselling who.
if they well be sent a prepaid return box to send the check in.
is a big part, too. My friend always does the "medium" setting and blew through Modern Warfare in a few ours. I play most of the good games on the hardest setting and I still to this day cannot get passed the airplane level at the very end of MW. I have spent FOREVER trying to get to that damn cabin and have made it up the stairs and half way down then time is up. That level is my demise.
has something to do with Treyarch and Infinity Ward going seperate ways with the franchise I think.
Anyone know for sure the reason? I read it earlier but I cannot recall...
Well, for us old farts this game is iconic. Back before the HD wars, back before Gamestop, Trade A Game and before gaming was mainstream, DN WAS the badass. Imagine if HALO took 13 years for the next game, then MS shut it all down and then all of a sudden we were told it might actualy see the light of day. In 2021, all the youngins would be like, "Halo what? Who cares!?!" Well, a lot of old schoolers WOULD care. I'm not saying Halo is the end all be all by any means, just using it t...
I like to give MS a good ribbing but the RROD issue is done, over. I can totaly see why the 360 fanboys get beytchy in some threads. That circle of light is used way too much as an all encompassing image of "bad things".
It was a pain in the ass getting the RROD. I have had a couple experiences with it but the 360 really does kick butt. Not tons of new stuff coming out but enough and LIVE is still great. I love my PS3 as well, eagerly awaiting all the goodies coming o...
No need to hemmorage buttloads of cash into a marketing campaign when the product can speak for itself. I do enjoy my 360, a lot actualy, but I have never seen an ad for a game that I didn't already know was coming out. I follow the devs and publishers that make games I enjoy and as we all know, most gamers are aware 6-12 months prior to release that a good game is on it's way...Alan Wake, Gow3, Heavy Rain, etc.
to have this on my PC. Keep the controlers the way they are and GET RID OF MY MOUSE AND TOUCHPAD PLEASE
but I have about 35 hours already logged on my copy of Fable 2. Sucks when these great deals occur but the real gamer already snatched it up within the 1st few days of release. They should have a "1st Day Sale" where they take a AAA release and in one location for a short time you can pick it up for $39.99. Can you imagine if they did that with Alan Wake or God of War 3? I'd be there!
No, I played it. I'm saying by adding in all the coop. Please dont take away from other parts of the game. Every time a game "goes to the next level" or whatever, something about the original gets lost. Thats all.
I hope more than anything that we even SEE an Elder scrolls V. Bethesda has been rumored to not even be THINKING of putting out another one, let alone in actual development of it. Sad, but true.
No Ratchet and Clank? EPIC FAIL to the 10th Power.
